Question 5 :Evaluation

The way that I attracted my intended target audience was by looking at a real top end magazine 'Vibe' I research this particular magazine as i thought that the layout was of a high standard because the image and the text would allways work well together because 'VIBE' use The grid method when designing a magazine which is very ingenius because when i was doing my radial analysis i noticed that they allways have they magazine presented in three's. I think the main focual point of my own media product the fact that i used one of vibes most powerful techniqes, this being a stong powerful image to attract the reader then follow up with a nice simple 2-3 colour scheme. For me personally i think that how i tried replicate the same image that 'VIBE' use to present there there models in very powerful agressive manners.

In the end i decided to try go with the same style as the Kanye west Vibe style with close up of the face which i found to be quite succesful

Question 4:Evaluation

The target audinece for my selected genre is young adolesents mainly male aged between 15-30 the spesific target audice would be most appealing to the black community by the artists are mostly black.I have made questionnaires and asked people who include in my target audience to fill them out, an interview with a teenage male aged 18 and researched the type of activities in a magazine makes this target audience want to read more when it comes to the world of magazines. This proved that it was a very useful peice of reasearch and information which was absolutly nessary for my work so i knew exactly what the modern day teenager would expect in his/her grime magzine.

For my media being distributed i think WHsmith would be a good PLC like most supermarkets that this would be the most succesful because it is a reconisable firm that is well known in high streets.I am hoping these types of shops will distribute my media product along with the many other different types of genre magazines they sale in their stores. Big media corporations will distribute my magazines such as conde nast and Hirst Digtial these big industries have absoloute monlopisation of the magzine industy.
